It’s made to keep your cell phone connected in even the most unlikely places. You can find phones that have Wi-Fi as well as other ways to connect such as EDGE or GSM.

Does this mean that if a phone doesn’t have Wi-Fi you should pass it over? Not at all. It means you have to evaluate how time you’ll be spending on the road where you’ll need Wi-Fi versus staying in town where a Wi-Fi connection is a bonus rather than a necessity. But if you want to make sure your smart cell phone has the best connection capability, look for one that has more than one way to connect.
